Walnut Street Bridge or Reason #1 I love living in Chattanooga

I'm starting a list for you. Of reasons I love living in Chattanooga. Now I've lived in other places full of great things (& people!). And perhaps I'll make you a list for those places too someday. But for now, this is where I am and I do love it. So, here's the first one- they're coming at you in no particular order and I'm not sure how many there will be.

The Tennessee River winds through downtown. And there are several bridges that cross it. My favorite is a walking bridge (no cars allowed) called Walnut Street Bridge.

This first shot is from the bridge looking west. Those two boats on the river are called Dragon Boats and there is a race tomorrow. Each boat holds like 10-12 people who all row simultaneously.

This is Wade's first walk across the bridge. He enjoyed it immensely. The walkway is a boardwalk. You should have seen his chubby cheeks jiggling with every step we took. ADORABLE!

And this is Wade smiling as he looks at the sun setting over the mountains.

So, there you have it. Reason #1. By the way, Wade increased his sleeping by another hour last night- we're up to 8!!!! I'll let you know how he does tonight.

P.S. I'm having difficulty uploading photos. So, I aplogize if you get my posts in email form because you are probably going to receive it with the photos messed up or you may receive it like 10 times. I'll get better.
