72.7%

Apparently the steepest incline railway in the WORLD is right here in Chattanooga. But it only earns that title for a couple feet. I guess the grade is record breaking for just long enough to top some other incline in the Himalaya's or the Alps or Pike's Peak.

Hi Robin! I love reading your blog and seeing how little Wade is growing.

We started signing with Brian at about 4 months and 'milk' was in fact the main sign we did. We also signed 'all done', 'bath', and 'more'. Once he began to eat solid foods we started with 'eat'. We would usually work on about 3 at a time and when we felt like he knew what they meant we added 3 more. One you might try with Wade is 'dog' unless he just doesn't pay any attention to Sammy. Here is a website with videos of the most popular baby signs (http://deafness.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=deafness&cdn=health&tm=245&f=10&su=p726.2.152.ip_p284.8.150.ip_&tt=2&bt=1&bts=1&zu=http%3A//www.aslpro.com/). It is also never too early to start with 'please' and 'thank-you', but we have found those are hard concepts to teach Brian. Hopefully this helps a little. Let me know if you have any more specific questions.

I have 3 years until a degree. 1 year (this year) in the classroom and 2 years doing rotations. After I get my degree I will have about 2-3 years in residency and possibly 2-3 more in a fellowship. But in 3 years from now I will officially be doctor!
